Illinois: Director, Physician Marketing and Sales
This full-time exempt position reports to the Vice President for Strategic Planning and Growth, and is responsible for leading the creation and implementation of an integrated marketing strategy aimed at referring physicians. The goal is to build a prototype for three of the hospital system’s facilities, with expansion system-wide once proven. Focus of the position includes involvement in the development of a multi-faceted approach to build relationships with referring physicians, including CME programming, regional forums, newsletter, direct mail campaigns, web site development, and physicians’ intranet enhancement.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to build marketing strategy targeted to referring physicians, as well as direct implementation of those strategies. Strong self-motivation and self-direction is very important. At least three-five years of sales management experience and at least five-seven years of healthcare sales experience. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management or a related field is required with Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
